dumbo is a vibrant neighborhood located in northwest brooklyn along the east river.  because of its location on the waterfront, dumbo was originally a major industrial hub for producing and exporting goods.  in the late 20th century, dumbo went through a major transformation and became the new “it” girl attracting visitors and new yorkers with its breathtaking city views and new developments like bk bridge park.  the character of the industrial age is still present in the cobblestone lined streets and beautiful architecture that houses many of the city’s tech start ups, art galleries, shops, and restaurants.
